In a recent report by THE SUN on Friday June 19 2026, Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Umar M. Hadejia, has disclosed that three suspected members of the Mamudawa Boko Haram group were arrested while allegedly on their way to buy food supplies for other members of the sect.
This is coming after police operatives intercepted the suspects along the Illo-Lolo Road in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State following credible intelligence. According to Hadejia, the suspects were travelling to Lolo town when they were arrested by security operatives.
He said preliminary investigations linked the suspects to movements around the area where three Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) personnel were killed in an attack in Illo on June 4, 2026....
